
Mr. Vincent Chu
Senior Advisor
Mr. Chu is a licensed investment advisor and a veteran investment banker. He has 30+ years of
practice in asset management, investment banking and capital markets, working in both Asia
and the US. Presently, Mr. Chu is an independent advisor and consultant in private equity market,
serving investors in the region including funds and managers. He provides services to private equity investors in sourcing, structuring and managing projects and deals. He also advised on the setup of private equity funds in Asia. Besides, he is a Managing Partner of Bosen Asset Management Limited.
Previously, Mr. Chu was Managing Director of Asia Pacific Region for SEI Investments Company (SEI) (1996 – 2007). He established and built SEI’s Asian operations including its Hong Kong subsidiary, SEI Investments (Asia) Limited, and two local joint ventures in the region. Besides, he was Chairman of the Board of SEI Asset Korea and served on the board of Taiwan International Investment Management Company, both a joint venture of SEI.
Mr. Chu was a senior banker and previously worked in Wall Street for major US banks, including Kidder, Peabody & Co. (1991 – 1995) and Prudential Securities Incorporated (1985 – 1991). In 1994, he relocated to Hong Kong for Kidder with the responsibility of establishing a regional investment banking office there and heading up business development effort and client coverage in Asia.
Prior to investment banking, Mr. Chu was a senior consultant in the areas of corporate finance and capital markets. Mr. Chu is a licensed investment manager with Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (license Type 4 & 9). In addition, he was previously a registered professional in the securities industry with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the US. Mr. Chu graduated from Pace University in New York City with a bachelor’s degree and an MBA degree.
