Technical Pain Points:-
Hardware Barrier: The core patent technology for projectors has long been monopolized by Texas Instruments (TI) in the US. All three major projector manufacturers worldwide use TI's DMD optical engine.
Content Barrier: DCI (Digital Cinema Initiatives) is the internationally recognized standard for digital cinema certification. All cinema-related equipment must obtain DCI certification.
Breaking the Monopoly: In 2017, Samsung developed the world’s first cinema LED screen. As of now, Space Connect has four LED movie screens that have passed DCI certification.
